Date Scones

50g butter, melted
3/4 cup water
2 1/3 cups Bakels Gluten Free Baking Mix
3/4 cup chopped dates
2 tsp sugar
pinch of cinnamon

Make Up Instructions

Mix melted butter and Bakels Gluten Free Baking Mix until it resembles soft crumbs. Add chooped dates, sugar and a pinch of cinnamon and fold through. Add water and mix to a soft dough. Roll out dough to 2-3cm high and cut into desired size. Place on greased oven tray.

Garnish with a little extra cheese before baking if desired.

Bakes at 200°C for 10-12 minutes or until golden.
